ABOUT PRETTY GIRL
Pretty Girl was conceptualized originally in 2017 as a cosmetic (mainly lipstick) and nail lacquer brand that dedicated it’s shades to landmarks in Washington, D.C. and Prince George’s County, Maryland. Pretty Girl was conceptualized in mid-to late 2017 as a luxury lifestyle brand. In the developmental process, it grew into a Lifestyle Brand serving as a one-stop ship for all things women’s everyday fashion. Pretty Girl strives to not only celebrate Washington, D.C. and it's diverse culture and put it's vibrance on the map. but to provide affordable, trendy, everyday wear and products for women of all lifestyles.
The creator, Heather Gore, was born in Washington, D.C. and bounced around central Maryland, landing in cities such as Oxon Hill, Bowie and Laurel. Fashion, music and writing were always escapes for Heather as an adolescent and moving out at age 16, didn't stop Heather from her eye on the prize of the brand of herself. Designing since age 7, Heather has long desired owning a clothing store and fashion line and the launch of Pretty Girl is a long awaited dream come true. Heather, now 21, has since moved to Atlanta Georgia to pursue fashion and music. Pretty Girl will be selling products in person for the first time at various festivals and events around Metro Atlanta, where Heather will be speaking live as well as selling exclusive Pretty Girl and Keep It P.G. merch. Pretty Girl is completely managed, maintained and designed by Heather, the owner. Her lovely fiancé, Rodney has since become a partner and intricate piece to the operation of Pretty Girl operations and pop-ups. Pretty Girl is hoped to be expanded to brick and mortar with D.C. as it's first location and becoming a widely known lifestyle brand similar to ASOS, House of CB and OFFWHITE.
Pretty Girl is hoped to be a dream come true not to just the women of the DMV, it’s inspiration, but every diverse, hardworking, fashionable woman worldwide.
